Since 2003, the Arte Capoeira Center has been establishing itself as a valuable cultural resource hosting several events related to Brazilian culture and capoeira, such as: film screenings, art exhibitions, monthly open rodas and performances. The ACC is also active within its community. Instructor Mucuiú and the ACC often perform public performances and participate in non- for-profit youth programs offering free capoeira classes for children in low-income communities. All of this is made possible due to generous contributions from our individual and corporate sponsors. Their contributions are a key source of funding for our batizado & cultural activities.
