I’m totally new to capoeira what classes
should I attend?
We have daily classes for beginners from Monday through  Saturday. If you never done capoeira before, you should start attending these classes. Once you learn the basics you can attend also the all levels classes.

Do I have to register or make a reservation
for a class?
All our classes are always open to beginners, new students, visitors.

Do I have to wear a capoeira uniform for
my first class?
If you are a new student you can train with gym pants and a t-shirt for the first month, after this time if you decide you like capoeira and you want to join our group, we’ll ask you to buy the uniform (t-shirt, pants and belt = $ 75.00). Visitors can wear their own group uniform.

How much does the capoeira class cost?
The first class is $10 after that single class is $18, the 10-class card is $145 (valid for 2 months) and the monthly unlimited pass is $130 (valid per calendar month).

Do you have any discounts for students?
We offer 10% off 10-class card and monthly passes to students with a valid school ID.

I would like to train at the Arte Capoeira
Center but I cannot afford the classes,
do you offer any free classes?
We offer work/study programs to students who train regularly. The work/study program consists in a 2 hrs work at the Arte Capoeira Center (running errands, cleaning, helping around) in exchange of a class. Work/study must be organized in advance and must follow a regular weekly schedule.

Im a bit ashamed to ask, but how do you say "Capoeira"?
Easy, its pronounced "ka-poo-eh-da"
